It is really beautiful outside when the sun is shining! It definitely is vintage and does have moderate metal wear throughout (small black areas and places where the Gold finish has worn off.) I have tried to show this in the pictures. Nevertheless I have not seen another Haskell like it! Perfect for boat or water lovers. The Gold finish is reactive to light. The Gold is very beautiful in bright lighting or the sun. It is definitely a much softer Gold tone in regular lighting or in dark settings. The metal wear is not very noticeable when wearing unless someone gets really close and stares at it! I do want to be honest that it is noticeable while holding the jewelry in your hands or staring at it close up. I think it gives it a rustic vintage feel but this may not be to someone else's liking. Measures 16 inches Choker length. Clip on Signed earrings. The earrings measure approximately 1 inch in length. To close the necklace you put the ring in the clasp and it will lock, then you slightly push on the ring and it will open. It stays on very securely even though the clasp is not as common as a Lobster type or Spring ring. The brooch is in good vintage condition as well with minor metal wear.
