Antique 18th Century Georgian Amethyst and Hand Carved Hardstone Sterling Silver Agate Cameo Necklace Pendant. Absolutely stunning Antique Georgian Necklace pendant. She is small but mighty! Very rare and beautiful Georgian piece. In good antique condition especially for a 200-300 year old item but may show minor signs of wear due to normal use and age. The first two pictures have been enlarged to show the detail of the pendant. Please refer to the scale of the size next to the quarter. Although this is a small pendant it packs a punch! It has a gorgeous deep purple Amethyst halo set in Sterling Silver and Hand Carved Hardstone. The Cameo is made of Agate. I have not personally tested the Amethyst myself with a gem tester so it may be an Amethyst tone purple Paste which was common during this time period.
