Vintage Antique Moroccan Tribal Faux Turquoise Silver Heart Beaded Filigree Hirz Pendant Necklace. This is an awesome Vintage necklace. It was made by a skilled Artisan in Morocco. This necklace is made of Morrocan Silver, Glass beads (Imitation Turquoise) on the pendant, Green Hebron beads ( made from the Salts of the Dead Sea) and I am not sure what the large Blue beads are made out of. The large Blue beads feel like a very hard plastic which considering the age I do not believe them to be actually plastic. I wanted to be honest about the beads as I am not sure what those specifically are. It is possible it could be a type of true turquoise as I am not an expert on this! There are brass beads on the chain and hanging from the bottom of the pendant. Please refer to the pictures closely before purchasing as this is a true Vintage item and does have a lot of beads that are showing rust and metal with heavy Patina. This is a necklace for someone who wants a true Vintage Tribal piece not a perfect Imitation! It is a one of a kind! There is really gorgeous Heart filigree throughout the beads. Some of the beads depict an Ancient woman smiling and an ancient man which I have included in the pictures. This very possibly could have been a Wedding Dowry necklace. This is definitely a large Hirz pendant and it is highly possible that this was an Amulet. It is in good vintage condition but downs show signs of wear due to normal use and age. There is beads on the bottom of the pendant that are missing. I did rearrange the bottom beads to make the design consistent and to make sure they were secure. The necklace measures 20 inches in length and the pendant measures approximately 3 1/2 inches. It is signed on the back corner of the pendant but it is either in a different language or too small to interpret. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail and Insurance.
